Introductions

Each playbook ends with a procedure for introducing your character to the group. This is to meant to happen during the first session, after you all choose and fill out your playbooks. The GM will walk the group through it, together, asking lots of questions. Pay attention to the other players, ask questions yourself, and riff on the details they provide.

The introductions procedure assumes that your character is already established in the village. If you're making a new character to add to an ongoing game, work with the GM and other players to determine the best way to introduce your new PC. If your new PC was previously an NPC who is "stepping up" to PC status, then maybe do a pared-down version of this procedure between sessions (via email, group chat, etc.) or at the start of the next one. Some of the answers might be obvious, but some might be surprises.

If your new PC is a recent arrival in Stonetop, you might skip this procedure entirely and actually play out their arrival in town. Or the group might skip ahead in time, saying that your new PC arrived a couple months ago and has gotten settled in, and then you can walk through the Introductions normally at the start of a session.
