Tags and game elements

Regardless of how you're writing up an artifact, include a list of relevant gear terms & tags, such as: +1 armor, awkward, crude, dangerous, fragile, requires ___, slow, uses, etc.

If it can be used as a weapon or a light source, include range tags (close, area, etc.) and other weapon traits (like "2 piercing" or "ignores armor").

If it takes up space in inventory, put or at the start of the tag list (or just before the object itself in a simple description). If it's too big to just carry on your person, give it the immobile tag.

Artifacts might have additional tags not found on mundane items, such as:

beautiful: draws attention, makes some people want it fireproof: unharmed by heat or flame implanted: it's part of you, or must become so before you can use it indestructible: can't be broken or marred by mundane force or art loud: makes a lot of noise magical: imbued with unnatural power terrifying: people and beasts freak out in its presence
