NPCs

Finally, the steading playbook has places to record notable non-player characters (NPCs). There's a section for Residents of Stonetop, and one for Notable neighbors of Stonetop.

Each time you establish a new NPC (during character introductions or in the course of play), give them a name and note their pronouns. Pick a name from the appropriate list in the steading playbook, or pick an unused name from the front of your playbook.

Note each NPC's occupation, and give each a notable, memorable trait. Pick one of the NPC traits from the steading playbook, or make one up.

Also note any relationships that are important to understanding the NPC, like "Nolwen's sister" or "Urgben's mother (hates Trystan)."
